The working principle of graphene underfloor heating

1.Graphene material

Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice structure. It possesses excellent electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity properties.

2.Electric heating film

Graphene underfloor heating utilizes a special electric heating film that contains graphene material. This electric heating film can generate uniform heat when electricity is passed through it.

3.Installation beneath the floor

The graphene electric heating film is typically installed beneath the floor, either between the floor and the insulation layer or directly on the floor base.

4.Current passing through graphene

When an electric current passes through the installed graphene electric heating film, the graphene material rapidly heats up and transfers the heat to the surface of the floor.

5.Radiant heat and convection heat

Graphene underfloor heating transfers heat to the indoor space through radiant heat and convection heat.
